The customer's request:
The customer wanted to cover the hotel terrace for his guests, so that it could be used also in bad weather. The problematic was that above said terrace where balconies, that forestalled the mounting of a standard tent, because of the tent's height.

The MASTERTENT-solution:
Usually a tent 3x3m has the highest point in the middle, where the roof is held under tension by the central gable pole. A flat roof in this case was not an option, as it would not have been possible to drain the rainwater and after a while there would have appeared water bags.
MASTERTENT has now tried to produce a tent with a gable pole, that is not situated in the middle, but moved to the side. With this solution it has been possible to shift the highest point of the tent and therefore this customer could mount two tents 3x3m in a modular system on his terrace, under the balconies. At the same time also a raingutter, resp. a raingutter-system has been installed on the wall behind the tents, so that no rainwater could enter between tent and hotel wall.

Subsequently the tent has also been produced for other customers, this time not for the spatial requirements, but for the particularly noticeable form.
