What Is a Custom Fraternity or Sorority Tent?

A custom fraternity or sorority tent is a professional pop-up canopy customized with your chapter’s approved colors, Greek letters and artwork. It creates a recognizable meeting point for potential new members, current members and alumni during recruitment, philanthropy events, tailgates and campus fairs.

  • Approved Chapter Colors

Provide your chapter’s official color references for a coordinated tent design.

  • Greek Letters & Artwork

Add Greek letters, chapter names and graphics across the roof, valances and sidewalls.

  • Flexible Event Setup

Change walls, counters, flags and accessories to prepare the same tent for different events.

  • Set Up Fast

The canopy roof comes already attached to the folding frame, so there are no loose parts to assemble. Open the frame, extend the legs and secure the tent for the event surface—no tools required.

Preview Your Roof and Frame Colors

Use the selector to try different standard roof and aluminum frame combinations. For custom printed chapter colors, a U.S. Product Expert and the graphics team will use your approved color references to prepare the final tent layout.

Custom frame colors are available in 200+ additional RAL color options. Ask your Product Expert for help adding a custom shade to your tent frame.

Make Your Chapter Recognizable Across Campus

Your letters should be visible before anyone reaches the booth.

Match Approved Chapter Colors

Send the Pantone, CMYK or other color references approved by your chapter or national organization. The graphics team uses them to prepare a coordinated tent layout for your review.

Print Your Letters and Approved Artwork

Place approved Greek letters, chapter names, founding dates, mottos and logos across the roof panels, valances and sidewalls.

Your chapter is responsible for confirming permission to reproduce protected names, letters, logos and trademarks.

Be Seen From Across Campus

Use the roof, valances and flags to make the chapter easy to spot from a distance. Add printed sidewalls and counters for recruitment information, event messaging or a backdrop for Bid Day photos.

Carry Chapter Colors Through the Frame

Choose an aluminum frame color that complements the printed fabric and carries the chapter look through the entire structure.

Built for Years of Chapter Events

A chapter tent gets passed from one executive board to the next. It travels between recruitment, philanthropy events, tailgates and campus fairs, so it needs to handle repeated setup, transport and storage across multiple academic years.

Professional Construction

The aluminum folding frame opens without tools and is designed for repeated professional use. Individual components can be serviced or replaced, so damage to one part does not mean replacing the entire tent.

Protection for Outdoor Events

The canopy is 100% waterproof and provides UPF 50+ protection. The correct securing solution depends on the tent configuration, event surface and current conditions. A U.S. Product Expert can help identify suitable stakes or weights.

Support for the Next Executive Board

Replacement parts are available for 15 years, helping future officers and recruitment teams maintain the same tent instead of starting over after a leadership change.

Supporting 5-Star Service

Mastertent was extremely helpful in getting my custom tent right and answering all my questions! I needed something to fit the themed Renaissance Festival events I work, and within my budget. They were helpful, friendly, and communicative. Everything arrived on time and delivery was great. My first event out with my new Mastertent was in POURING rain for two full days and my 13'x13' with front awning held up perfectly with no issues. It was much easier to set up than anything else I've worked with! Highly recommended.

What can I say, EXCELLENT service from start to finish. Melissa grabbed my attention right away during my first call in to inquire about pricing and ordering. Immediately they not only provided a great product, but had their design team pair my 9 tents creating an incredible visual for me to use at a convention while the tents were being produced. This resulted in over $500k in future revenue for my company in 2025! I can not be happier with the service and I am sure the product will look even better! Thank you team!

Found Mastertent online through search engines. They reached out to me promptly and was able to draft up a price and design on how everything would look. The process was very easy, and we were in a crunch of receiving our tent by a certain day. Mastertent told me what they needed on her side, and delivered everything as promised. Tent was very easy to put up, great quality, and barely needed any instructions or YouTube videos, and looked amazing! Would highly recommend.

Watch the Wind-Tunnel Test

The appropriate securing system depends on the tent size, surface, weather conditions and venue requirements.

In controlled wind-tunnel testing, a 10x10 ft Series 1 canopy secured with one 60 lb base weight per leg withstood wind speeds of up to 62 mph. This is not a safe operating wind speed; close and store the tent whenever conditions become unsafe or uncertain.
