Warranty Coverage That Supports Your Investment

A Mastertent is built for professional use, repeated setup, and long-term value. Our warranty coverage is designed to reflect that commitment. We stand behind the quality of our materials, manufacturing, and product design, while providing clear information about coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.

Please review the full warranty terms for product-specific coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.

Easy Returns on Standard In-Stock Products

Standard, non-custom in-stock products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days when they are unused, in new condition, and returned with the original packaging and manuals.

This gives you added flexibility and confidence when purchasing eligible in-stock products.

Custom Printing You Can Approve

Custom-printed roofs, sidewalls, and other made-to-order fabric products are produced according to approved layouts and design proofs. If a print error results in a finished product that does not match the approved artwork, our team will work with you to resolve the issue.

Long-Term Protection for Your Frame

Mastertent warranty coverage reflects the professional quality of our products. Series 1 and Series 2 frames are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Roofs, sidewalls, printing, and selected accessories are covered by a 1-Year Warranty. Select base weights are also covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Like other professional event equipment, canopy tents must be used, secured, transported, and stored correctly. Damage caused by wind, severe weather, accidents, improper handling, misuse, or normal wear and tear is not covered under standard warranty terms.

Because real-world conditions vary beyond controlled testing, warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by environmental or site-specific factors.

Spare Parts and Long-Term Support

A Mastertent is built for long-term use and professional performance. Our spare parts program makes it easy to maintain, repair, and refresh your tent over time—helping you protect your investment and keep your setup looking and performing at its best.

Mastertent is built for long-term use

Our 15-year spare parts availability helps you maintain, repair, and extend the service life of your tent with confidence for years to come.

Replace Only What’s Needed

If part of your tent becomes damaged, that section can often be replaced without replacing the entire frame. This makes repairs easier, more cost-effective, and more practical for long-term professional use.

When it is time for a rebrand or simply a refreshed look, roofs, sidewalls, and other fabric components can be replaced independently of the frame. This makes it easy to update your setup while keeping your existing hardware in service.

Use the appropriate securing method based on wind conditions, tent size, surface type, and setup requirements. As conditions become more demanding, additional weight and anchoring are necessary to help keep the tent properly secured.

Pro tip

Always secure your tent for conditions beyond what you expect, and be prepared to close, take down, and store it when needed.

Mild

Under 10 mph

  • 22 lb base weights
  • or ground anchors
  • 20–60 lbs downforce per leg

Suitable for mild conditions with proper securing.

Intermediate

10–30 mph

  • 1–2 x 60 lb base weights
  • and/or ground anchors
  • Water weights may also be used where appropriate
  • 60–200 lbs downforce per leg

Increase securing as wind conditions become less predictable.

Heavy

30–40 mph

  • 2 x 60 lb base weights
  • and top-down anchors
  • A full set of water weights (Set of 4) adds 176 lbs total
  • 260 lbs+ downforce per leg

Heavier conditions require a stronger securing combination.

Ground Anchors and Additional Weight

Ground anchors can add important roof-line support on soft ground such as grass, sand, and gravel, and in some cases on hard surfaces as well. For long-term installations and more demanding weather conditions, additional ballast such as concrete blocks or water barrels may be needed when used with the correct straps and placement.

Important Safety Note

  • Performance estimates vary based on real-world conditions.
  • Wind and weather damage are not covered under warranty.
  • Reported wind speeds may not reflect actual conditions at your location.
  • Sudden gusts, uplifts, swirls, and direction changes can make a tent more vulnerable than expected.
  • Users are responsible for assessing on-site conditions and securing the tent for safe operation at all times.
  • If there is any doubt about wind security, close and store the tent immediately.

Important Site Factors

  • Walls, awnings, and added surface area increase the securing required.
  • Larger tents, especially 15 ft and up, need more support under the same conditions.
  • Extended leg heights should be secured at both the base and roof line.

Wind-Tunnel Tested for Material Strength

Tent Wind Speeds

Mastertent canopy tents are wind-tunnel tested for material strength at speeds up to 75 mph, demonstrating the strength of their materials and construction under controlled test conditions.

Real-world wind conditions are unpredictable and may include gusts, uplift, funnels, and sudden direction changes. Do not attempt to test these simulated limits in actual use. Always follow recommended securing guidelines and close and store the tent when conditions become unsafe.

Fabric Certifications and Tested Performance

Protection From Moisture

Mastertent canopy tent roofs are tested for 100% waterproof performance to help keep your setup dry in the rain.

Our fabrics are designed to balance strong weather performance with the mobility professionals need. The material is treated for outdoor use, the seams are sealed for added moisture protection, and the roof is engineered for a secure fit that helps reduce water pooling along the edges.

Water column testing is part of our standard quality process, with results ranging from 1,600 to 5,000 mm depending on the selected fabric line.

Serious Safety, Ultimate Functionality.

All standard fabrics are treated to be fire-retardant and comply with recognized North American and European standards, including NFPA 701, CPAI-84 Sec. 6, CAN/ULC-S109, and EN 13501-1:2007.

Important Safety Note
Our fabrics are treated to be fire-retardant, not fireproof. They can burn if left in continuous contact with flame or heat, and foreign substances on the fabric may reduce flame-retardant performance. Always keep flame and heat sources at a safe distance.

Find the right fabric for your performance

Mastertent offers multiple canopy tent fabric options to match different performance needs. Our standard canopy tent roofs use durable Oxford Weave 500D polyester, while sidewalls use Oxford 250D polyester for strong, professional-grade performance. These fabrics are designed for waterproofness, UV protection, and fire-retardant compliance. For specialized applications, Mastertent also offers heavy-duty PVC materials and innovative fabric options like Pirontex®, developed for improved color retention, elasticity, durability, and waterproof performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mastertent tents are engineered for professional strength and durability. Like all mobile structures, however, stability depends on proper securing, tent size, surface type, added features such as sidewalls or awnings, leg height, and actual on-site weather conditions.

For safe operation, each tent must be secured with the appropriate combination of base weights, ground anchors, water weights, or other anchoring solutions. If conditions become extreme, uncertain, or the tent will be left unattended, it should be closed and stored immediately.

Standard in-stock products that are not printed or customized may be returned or exchanged within 30 days when they are unused, in new condition, and returned with the original manuals and packaging.

Custom-printed products are produced according to approved layouts. If a print error is identified within 30 days and the finished product does not match the approved artwork, it may be eligible for a reprint exchange.

Mastertent warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under proper use and care. Depending on the product, coverage may include issues such as aluminum weld or tubing failure, tension system breakdown, defective connection pins, premature corrosion, loose threads, stitching defects, and fabric performance during the applicable warranty period.

Series 1 and Series 2 frames are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Roofs, sidewalls, printing, and many accessories are covered by a 1-Year Warranty.

Wind and weather damage are not covered under warranty. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by mishandling, accidents, improper transport or storage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Because a canopy tent is a mobile structure, safe operation always depends on proper securing, responsible use, and real on-site conditions.
