1963 - 1979

1963: Workshop expansion to keep up with demand

The production of machines for agricultural, housing, and environmental technology quickly grows as customers respond to the high-quality craftmanship.

1979: Business relocation to the industrial zone
Business and production processes continue to significantly advance and require more room to grow. The company moves to the nearby industrial district of Schabs/ Sciaves, Italy.

1948

Italian workshop starts with Franz Zingerle

Franz Zingerle has big dreams - he uses his machinery experience to start a workship of his own in Schabs, Italy. Mastertent's parent company, Zingerlemetal is born.

1985-1986

Second generation and new products

Franz Zingerle's sons, Martin and Georg, see potential and are excited to be involved with the next chapter of the business. With high market demands, the production of their folding tables and benches begins.

Mastertent is born: Canopy tents enter the business

Martin and Georg Zingerle notice the complementary demand for high-quality party and promotional tents alongside their beer table sets. They produce and sell the first Mastertent folding tent.

Modern facilities inspire more

With European expansion, orders grow beyond expectation and facilities must keep up. The new headquarters and production facility bring a modern design and layout that allow for innovative new processes to inspire the next phase of Mastertent.

2017 - Today

Our U.S. Office

Mastertent USA, Inc. establishes its U.S. office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This central, east coast location, with easy access to major transportation routes, allows us to provide outstanding customer service and quick order fulfillment to all of our U.S. customers.

Our U.S. leadership has been in the Charlotte area for over 30 years and are thrilled they can continue to be a part of the vibrant growing Carolinas. We look to continue the Mastertent traditions of a fun, friendly and passionate atmosphere where we enjoy the great products we make, the incredible customers we serve, and the hardworking colleagues around us.

1997-2017

Growth throughout Europe

High-quality canopy tents become a great success for the business - demand spreads throughout Europe. Mastertent opens its first distributor brand in Spain in 1997 with more to follow in Austria, France and Switzerland from 2004 to 2007.
