Is the canopy tent fire-retardant?

Yes, all our tents are fire-retardant.

The fabric types used in our Oxford 250D and 500D, Pirontex® (600D), ECO and PVC tent fabrics have been tested by the Dutch testing institute "Efectis nederland BV" for fire behaviour and classified as flame-retardant with the classification "B, s1/s2, d0 according to EN13501-1:2007+A1:2009.

Is aluminum better than steel for canopy tents?

Canopy tents made of aluminum are corrosion-resistant, unlike tents made of steel, which means that moisture and rain cannot harm them!

Can a canopy tent be left outside all year round?

Yes, Mastertent tents can be left outside all year long.

If your canopy tent is standing outside over long periods of time, it is important to fasten it appropriately on the ground and to clean them in case of snow. If this is your case, we suggest to use the most resistant gazebo textile: Pirontex®.

Which canopy tent should I buy?

Depending on the use you want to make of your canopy tent, we recommend the Series 1 if you are a professional who will use it a lot and who wants it fully customised. Series 2 is for those who are looking for a high quality tent at a somewhat more affordable price. Both series are still at the top of the market in terms of durability and quality. We recommend that you take a look at our different fabrics and accessories to see which combination best suits your needs.

How long does it take to set up a Mastertent canopy tent?

Depending on the number of accessories and sidewalls the set-up time starts from 60 seconds for a classic 10x10 ft tent and can be extended to 5-6 minutes for more complex structures as for example the 26x13 ft Rescue Kit with inside tent.

Can I buy replacement parts for my Mastertent tent?

Yes, Mastertent offers a full replacement part service and a 10 years guarantee on aluminum frame availability.

Can I leave the roof on my canopy tent when I take it down?

Yes, we will deliver you the tent with the roof already mounted on the aluminium structure and you can leave it there forever! Make sure the roof is dry before closing and storing the canopy tent.
